Ever found yourself in a conversation, determined to stay calm, but suddenly words are spilling out and you're left with a pang of regret?
I know the feeling.Â
When I lost my dad, my world turned upside down. It felt like I was navigating a fun house with shifting floors and distorted mirrors, everything was unrecognizable and laughter was far from reach.
I transformed from a carefree individual to someone who would lose their cool at the dry cleaners for changing the drive-through lane. It was as if some days, I was a stranger in my own body.
Morning runs were my solace.Â
Evening wine was my comfort.Â
But what about the hours in between?Â
Over the years, I've dedicated myself to learning how to regulate my nervous system, to maintain calmness and not resort to "flight" mode when things get tough. To stay in control.
Life is a rollercoaster of challenges and changes.Â

I'm so glad we connected.
I'm Terra.
My professional background was primarily in executive recruiting, where I worked closely with C-level leadership and high-performing professionals. Alongside entrepreneurship and raising two children, I completed four marathons, more than 30 half marathons, and developed a deep interest in the connection between mind, body, and spirit.
Ironically, stillness never came naturally to me.
Practices such as yoga, meditation, or breathwork once felt far outside my comfort zone because I was wired for movement, achievement, and productivity. It was during a season of profound personal and professional transformation that I began exploring new approaches to healing, creativity, clarity, and nervous system regulation.
That search ultimately led me to Embody Breath Healing.
I initially approached the experience with skepticism. The rituals, journaling, and unfamiliar breathing techniques felt disconnected from the structured, high-performance environments I had spent most of my life in. Yet after my first session, the shift was undeniable. Creativity returned. Mental clarity expanded. Strategic thinking sharpened, and I experienced a level of calm and alignment I had not previously accessed through traditional wellness practices.
Today, I bring both lived experience and professional training into this work. I hold a Marketing degree from Dallas Baptist University and am a NASM Certified Wellness Coach, Lifestyle Design Coach, and certified Embody Breath Healing Facilitator.
